The 2025 Holberg Prize is awarded to Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak for her groundbreaking research into literary criticism and philosophy. Daniela Alaattinoğlu is awarded the Nils Klim Prize for her legal research.
The Holberg Prize will be conferred by H.R.H. Crown Prince Haakon of Norway. The Nils Klim Prize will be conferred by Minister of Research and Higher Education Sigrun Aasland.
