Meet Nils Klim Prize Laureate Rebecca Adler-Nissen in conversation with Professor John Erik Fossum from ARENA Centre for European Studies. (NB! In Norwegian/Danish)

The topic for the conversation will be “A differentiated Europe? Between integration and national sovereignty”. And further, how does this dualism reflect on Norway’s relation to the EU?

Rebecca Adler-Nissen is a Danish scholar dedicated to research within the fields of international political sociology, the development of the European Union and the relationship between the member states. She is Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Copenhagen and a former Head of Section in the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  

John Erik Fossum is a professor at ARENA, Centre for European Studies. John Erik Fossum’s main fields of interest include political theory, democracy and constitutionalism in the EU and Canada, Europeanisation and transformation of the nation-state.
