The 2025 Teacher’s Prize is awarded to Øyvind Skaarer and Ingrid Krogh Nøstdal at Lillestrøm Upper Secondary School in Akershus.

Øyvind Skaarer and Ingrid Krogh Nøstdal at Lillestrøm Upper Secondary School receives the Teacher’s Prize in 2025 for their report “The Research Adviser as a Supervisor and Bridge Builder”.

In their report, Skaarer and Nøstdal explore the cooperation between students and their research adviser as a part of the Holberg School Programme, and highlights how it can be made as fruitful as possible. Every participating school is paired with one or several professional researchers recruited from a nearby research institution. These professionals supervise the students on their research work and act as “bridge builders” between upper secondary school and institutions of higher education.
