The 2023 Teacher’s Prize is awarded to Anne Brit Ingholm, school librarian at Mailand Upper Secondary school.
In her report ‘I Do Think Teachers Care About What Sources We Use, But They Don’t Usually Say Anything About It’ Ingholm investigates the training students receive in source criticism and management. Source criticism is meant to be taught in all subjects, but Ingholm explores if there are structure and plans in place so that all students receive the same training.
The report shows how students perceive that the training they recieve in source criticism is deficient, and they want both more practical training and more feedback on the sources they actually do use.
About the Teacher’s Prize

The Teacher’s Prize recipient is chosen by the Holberg School Programme Jury, based on a voluntary report the teachers can choose to write about their experiences with participating in the programme.
The winner is announced in early May and the award ceremony takes place during the Holberg Week in Early June each year.
